Statement
Southern Area Hospice
Services is committed to providing a comprehensive Specialist Palliative Care
Service to patients with Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease and
other terminal illnesses. This high quality care extends beyond the Hospice
into the community and the Hospital services. Its aim is to enhance the quality
of life of patients by responding to their physical, psychological, emotional,
spiritual and social needs, as well as supporting families and carers, thus
enabling each person to live every day as fully as possible. The Southern Area
Hospice is also committed to encouraging a culture where all staff feel valued
and supported.
