16/3/2017

Southern Area Hospice Services are calling on local people to join them on Saturday 6th May 2017 as they head for Co. Fermanagh to climb Cuilcagh Mountain to raise vital funds.

The walk will be following the Legnabrocky Trail, the terrain on which is made up of a combination of Gravel Track, boardwalks & exposed mountain path and is approximately 15Km long.

A bus will transport participants from Southern Area Hospice Services, Courtenay Hill, Newry to Fermanagh and return. The bus will depart from Newry at 7.30am and return at 5pm approximately. Pick-ups will also be available in Armagh (Armagh City Hotel) and at Ballygawley roundabout (Park & Ride).

Places on this challenge can be secured with a non-refundable deposit of £20. Thereafter each participant is asked to fundraise a further minimum of £20 for Southern Area Hospice Services.

With a fundraising target of £2.5 million for 2017 Southern Area Hospice Services relies heavily on the support of the local community to help them reach their target and enable them to continue their work providing care and support to people who are living with Cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, such as Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease.

What better way to spend a Saturday? Why not get your friends or family together and register today. Places are strictly limited so don’t delay.
