Ladies Luncheon!
We are delighted to announce that this year’s Ladies’ Luncheon (sponsored
by the Canal Court Hotel), will take place on Thursday 21 May 2009 and our guest
speaker is Gerry Kelly.

Initially a primary
school teacher and lecturer at St Mary’s Training College, Kelly moved
on to host “Good Evening Ulster” in 1979 and then “The Kelly
Show” in 1989 - its highest ever ratings were for a programme dedicated
to George Best, which was watched by 367,000 viewers! He has recently published
his autobiography.
Gerry is married with two daughters and lives in Coney Island, Co Down. In 1998
he was installed into the Royal Television Society Hall of Fame in recognition
of his lifelong contribution to broadcasting. He has also received two prestigious
entertainment and media awards and was twice voted the “most entertaining
programme in Northern Ireland”.
So why not get a group of colleagues or friends together and spend an afternoon
in the company of Gerry Kelly!!! This year we will have the opportunity to ask
Gerry questions about his career in television and the guests he has met.
