Linda Kennedy from Newry has worked for Southern Area Hospice for three years and continued to work throughout the Covid-19 lockdown as a keyworker. Linda has also supported the our Hospice by playing our weekly lottery and she was shocked to get the news that she won the Hospice lottery rollover prize of £2,400.
About her win Linda said “I get to see every day the amazing work my colleagues do to care for and support patients and their families so I know the money I donate to play the Hospice lottery is so worthwhile. I still can’t believe I have won £2,400 and I plan to spend it on doing up my kitchen. For only £1 a week I would tell everyone to join the Hospice lottery, it is so worthwhile, and you could be a winner like me someday!”
The Hospice lottery draw takes place every Friday and costs just £1 per week or £4.34 per month to play. The Hospice lotto guarantees 3 winners each week;
