Caring Well Thinking Well Programme
Caring for someone who has a palliative illness is very difficult. We want you to know you don’t have to face this alone. This three-week group programme is designed to help you connect with a group of people who know exactly how you feel and who understand what you are going through. Initially, they may be strangers, but you'll be surprised how sharing an experience, a problem or just having a good old chat with a fellow carer can make a world of difference to helping you cope. With any group, no matter how tough the topic, there will be a few laughs along the way! What this group offers
- The opportunity to meet others over a cuppa in a relaxed environment (we won’t ask you to do anything you’re not comfortable with
- Time and support for you to think about what really matters both now and, in the future.
- Encouraging the use of relaxation and mindfulness techniques.
- Helpful Information about the illness you are dealing with and what to expect.
- Signposting you to other services and resources.
- Support from our team.
