Dare to dive for charity: Southern Area Hospice calls thrill seekers for skydive challenge
Southern Area Hospice (SAH) is calling on adventurous individuals to grab this unique opportunity to sign up for its 2024 charity skydive, a once in a lifetime experience. The skydive is scheduled to take place in Garvagh near Coleraine on Saturday 25 May 2024.
By participating in the skydive, individuals not only get the chance to experience the ultimate thrill of jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet but also to raise funds for a local charity. The funds raised from this event will directly support Southern Area Hospice. It will help the hospice to continue providing essential specialist palliative care and support for individuals and their families facing life-limiting conditions.
Last year’s skydive saw an impressive turnout, with almost 60 participants taking part and raising over £75,000 for Southern Area Hospice.
James McCaffrey, SAH Fundraising Officer, said, “We are excited to announce the return of our charity skydive and invite everyone to be part of this exciting fundraising event. Our hospice provides services to over 600 people each year and support through events like this is so important as it helps us raise much-needed funds for hospice care.”
