Hospice Raffling £1,000 Worth of Home Heating Oil or £1,000 Cash!
Southern Area Hospice is delighted to launch its Annual Christmas Draw, this year in conjunction with SAFE Fuels who have donated a very generous prize of £1,000 worth of home heating oil or cash alternative for the lucky winner. The draw will take place on Monday 11th December, with the winner contacted immediately afterwards, in perfect time for a warm and cozy Christmas!
Speaking about the raffle Brian McKeown from SAFE Fuels said, “We have always supported the Hospice and are only too happy to donate £1,000 worth of home heating oil again this year for the Hospice to raffle to raise much needed funds, I would encourage everyone to go online to purchase an entry or to pick up a ticket in our office.”
With thanks to the generosity of Hospice supporters, last year the annual Christmas Draw raised an incredible £25,046.83. Achieving the same amount this year will help pay for nursing care during Christmas week for those patients and their families spending Christmas in Southern Area Hospice. Last year’s winner, Sarah Clydesdale from Rathfriland said about her win, “I couldn’t believe how lucky I was when I got the call from SAFE Fuels, I have never won anything before never mind something so big! As a family we have always supported the Hospice by fundraising and volunteering because they were so good to my mum and all of us when we needed them, and now as a family we are here to support the Hospice, so winning a prize is just the icing on the cake!”
