HOW WE ARE ADAPTING DURING COVID-19: Wearing PPE.

All of our staff now must wear PPE while caring for our patients. This is extremely difficult for all staff, the mask alone is a barrier to a smile, it makes having a sensitive conversation even more difficult, also wearing scrubs and not being able to give a hug when it is needed. Our staff have worked around this to offer the best care possible to patients, they have large laminated photos attached to their scrubs, they still hold hands even if it is through gloves. Every single member of staff is fully committed to offering the highest level of care with dignity and compassion for patients and their families despite the Covid-19 restrictions.
