Living Well Thinking Well Programme
Being told you have a palliative illness is devastating. A roller coaster of emotions and unknowns can be overwhelming. We want you to know you don’t have to face this alone. This group programme is designed to help patients understand more about how to cope with their illness, think about their future, and help them to live as well as they can. With any group, no matter how tough the topic, there will be a few laughs along the way! What this group offers
- The opportunity to meet others over a cuppa in a relaxed environment (we won’t ask you to do anything you’re not comfortable with
- Time and support for you to think about what really matters both now and, in the future
- Encouraging the use of relaxation and mindfulness techniques
- Helpful Information about your illness and how to manage your symptoms
- Signposting you to other services and resources
