Livingstone Tractor Run Success
Southern Area Hospice Services would sincerely like to thank the Livingstone Family who have raised a phenomenal £27,012 (including Gift Aid) for Southern Area Hospice Services and the same for NI Children’s Hospice through their annual Tractor Run which took place on Saturday 29th December 2018.
An incredible 752 tractors turned up for this year's event which started and finished at Armagh Business Park. This is the seventh year the event has taken place and it has gone from strength to strength every single year with this year seeing the highest number of tractors attending to date. The Livingstone Christmas Tractor Run is a credit to the organisers and Southern Area Hospice are so delighted to be involved. Since it commenced in 2012 the event has now raised over £300,000 in total for Southern Area Hospice and the NI Children’s Hospice.
The number of volunteers who assist with this event and the amount of work which goes into organising it, is incredible and very much appreciated by everyone at the Hospice.
Sincere thanks to Ben Sergeant Tractors who kindly came on board as sponsor for the third year running. The Livingstone Family and supporters, along with Ben Sergeant, of Ben Sergeant Tractors are pictured recently presenting the cheque to Neville and Myrtle Pogue on behalf of Southern Area Hospice Services.
The money raised by this wonderful group will help Southern Area Hospice to continue their work providing care and support to local people who are living with Cancer and other life-limiting diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis or Motor Neurone Disease.
