We would love for you, your family and friends to join us for a heartfelt and inspiring event as we come together to walk in memory of our loved ones. Our Midnight Memory Walk is a special occasion to remember, honour and celebrate the lives of those who we have lost and love so dearly.

Date: Saturday 28th September 2024
Time: Registration opens from 10pm, with the walk commencing at 11pm sharp allowing us to walk together through midnight
Location: St Colman’s College, Violet Hill, 46 Armagh Road, Newry BT35 6PP

How to Participate:
- Register: Sign up by clicking the register button above. *Register before 31st August to avail of our Early Bird prices*
- Fundraise: As this is a sponsored walk, we are encouraging participants to create a Just Giving page to make fundraising as easy as possible, and share it with friends and family to support our cause
- Share your message: Submit a message to be featured during the event on our memory wall.
What to Expect on the night:
Opening Ceremony: The night will start with live music from the amazing Choir Studio, followed by a touching tribute with words of encouragement and remembrance. There will also be some stalls to purchase Hospice cards and merchandise.
The Walk: The 6K walk will commence from the grounds of St. Colman’s College. From here, we will walk along the streets of Newry City, stopping at the halfway point for some light refreshments and you can take a moment to view the beautiful messages on our digital wall. We will then continue our walk back to the grounds of St. Colman’s College where you will be greeted by a candle lit laneway and receive your well-deserved finishing medal followed by a lovely warm cup of soup.
Memory Wall: A special section where participants can view messages and photos in honour of their loved ones.
Refreshments: Light snacks and beverages are available at registration, to keep you energised throughout the night.

By taking part in this event, you’ll be helping us to continue providing the highest standard of specialist palliative care to individuals with complex life-limiting conditions, irrespective of their condition or place of care. We offer support through our inpatient unit, community services and bereavement support services.
This year, we need to raise £3.6 million to enable us to continue to provide vital specialist palliative care services. To achieve this £3.6 million, we must raise £300,000 per month, £69,230 per week, £9,863 per day, £410 per hour. We can only care because you do.
Please note this event is suitable for families, groups of friends, and colleagues. People under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult at all times.
