The Southern Area Hospice Services Annual Christmas Draw was won by Mrs A. Lipsett from Portadown. The final total raised from the Christmas raffle was a pheonmenal £17,757.05. Mrs Lipsett was both shocked and delighted to have won just in time for Christmas saying “My husband and I were only too happy to support the Hospice by buying raffle tickets, and I was thrilled to win the £1,000 cash prize generously donated by SAFE Fuels. It couldn’t have come at a better time of year, thank you very much.”
Speaking about the fundraiser, Bernie Murphy (Southern Area Hospice Services Fundraising Officer) said; ‘I would like to congratulate Mrs Lipsett on winning our Christmas Draw and to also thank her along with everyone else who kindly supported our Christmas Draw. The draw could not have taken place without the generosity of SAFE Fuels who are based in Camlough & Keady and are long term supporters of the Southern Area Hospice. The money raised from this fundraiser will go a long way to helping our patients and their families this Christmas time.’
