Southern Area Hospice Launches ‘Big Bucket Collection 2025’
The Southern Area Hospice is gearing up for its Big Bucket Collection 2025, a major fundraising event set to take place on Friday, 7th March in Coalisland, Dungannon and Portadown and Friday, 21st March in Armagh, Newry, Warrenpoint, Rostrevor, Camlough, Kilkeel, Banbridge, Lurgan, and Crossmaglen. The event will see volunteers collecting donations in a variety of towns and villages across the Southern Trust Area.
The goal is to raise £40,000 to support the Hospice’s specialist palliative care services. Volunteers play a vital role in the success of the event, and the Hospice is calling on the local community to get involved.
Siobhan McArdle, Hospice Fundraising Manager, encouraged local people to sign up and volunteer on the day saying, “Every year, the success of our Big Bucket collections are thanks to the incredible support we get from local people, businesses, and schools. This year, we are hoping to see that support grow even more. If you can spare 1 or 2 hours to help collect in your town, it will make a world of difference for our patients and their families.”
If you are interested in volunteering, the Hospice encourages you to reach out—your participation can make a real impact. Please contact Rosie on 028 3026 7711, email vs@southernareahospiceservices.org
