Quinn’s Corner Chick raises Funds for Hospice
Cormac Donnelly from Augher is pictured presenting Anne Mac Oscar of Southern Area Hospice Services with a cheque for £2,221.24 which was raised at ‘The Quinn’s Corner Chick’ which took place on Saturday 30th June in Quinn’s Corner. Cormac who organised the event extended his thanks to all of the participants in the show. They were: John Doran, Fidelma Brannigan, Mary Wray, Laura Jayne Donnelly, Sinead McKenna and Mona McElroy. Southern Area Hospice Services would sincerely like to thank everyone involved in the show and everyone who contributed to raising such a fantastic sum. Southern Area Hospice Services is a local charity which provides care, free of charge to local people who are living with Cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, such as Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease. With a fundraising target of £2.6 million in 2018 Southern Area Hospice Services rely heavily on the support of the local community in helping them to reach their target.
