Trek the Alps Total Reveal

On 14th- 18th September 39 participants took part in our Trek the Alps Challenge, participants spent 18 months fundraising and training for the huge challenge which would take them across 3 countries in just 3 days in aid of Southern Area Hospice. The challenge was difficult but hughly rewarding with stunning views of the Mont Blanc and glaciers. Hospice Fundraising Officers, Bernie & James were delighted to meet up again with the trekkers on Friday 11th November to reveal the final total raised, an incredible £205,142.45 

We can not thank this group of pheonomenal supporters enough, who went above and beyond their initial fundraising targets to raise this huge amount of money for Southern Area Hospice and for working so hard to train for the challenge. At the recent reunion Bernie and James also presented, Marian Quinn with a plaque to mark her completing 10 Hospice treks. Marian is also a regular Hospice volunteer and always shows her support to anyone new taking part in our trek challenges.
