Hospice Invites Individuals to Remember a Loved One This Valentine’s Day with a Virtual Heart Balloon on its Online Tribute Page
Southern Area Hospice (SAH) has launched an online tribute page to provide a place for those who have been bereaved to remember their loved ones this Valentine's Day.
Individuals are invited to visit the tribute page where they can make a dedication by leaving a message, recalling a fond memory and uploading a photograph that is special to them. To mark Valentine’s Day they can also release a virtual heart balloon.
For some, the act of releasing a balloon can be a meaningful way to remember a loved one. The virtual heart balloons and messages will feature alongside dedications from others on a virtual memory wall which is open to the public.
Denise Doyle, SAH Donor Development and Legacy Officer, said, ‘We recognise the challenges that Valentine’s Day presents for those who have lost someone close to them – it can bring feelings of sadness and grief. This is why we have created a special online tribute page where individuals can release a virtual heart balloon and make a special dedication to their loved ones.”
For more information on making a dedication on the tribute page and releasing a virtual heart balloon for Valentine’s Day, individuals can visit the website or contact the Hospice Fundraising Office on 028 302 67711.
